In response to attendee feedback, this coming April in The Netherlands, the annual beauty industry tradeshow will feature new programming dedicated to research, development, and innovation. Additionally, exhibitors from around the world will be on hand to showcase the newest ingredients, trends, and businesses in the cosmetics, personal care, and fragrance industry.

Roziani Zulkifli, exhibition manager of in-cosmetics global, boasts that the upcoming event will “provide unrivalled educational value to a broad international range of cosmetic professionals and we look forward to welcoming them all in April.”

And, she’s equally optimistic about next year’s event venue and special programming. “We can’t wait to bring the show back to Amsterdam and introduce the new elements we have been developing. The R&D Tours, Formulation Challenge and Pre-Show Regulatory Conference have all been coined to further inform and inspire our visiting cosmetics manufacturers – even when they are pressed for time,” Zulkifli tells the press.

in-cosmetics global 2018 will be in Amsterdam April 17 – 19. And the Cosmetics Design team will be on hand as usual, interviewing industry experts, exploring new offerings, and assessing the overall state of the global beauty business.

Tours

In much the same way that this year’s in-cosmetics North America tradeshow featured tours of the show especially for marketing professionals, the upcoming global event will include tours organized to meet the needs of research and product development pros.

According to a press release from the event organizers, “For the first time, in-cosmetics will introduce a series of R&D Tours, building on the show’s focus on education and inspiration.” The tours will concentrate on active ingredients made with biotech and on the future of the anti-aging category. And there will be “an exclusive tour that will highlight the most unique, innovative ingredients on display,” according to the release.

Interactivity

Of course the tradeshow will include a full program of educational presentations, workshops, and seminars.

And there will be quite a number of interactive learning and discovery areas at the show as well, including The Formulations Lab, the Formulations Challenge competition, the Make-Up Bar feature, the Sesnsory Bar, the Innovation Zone, and the Sustainability Corner.
