The countdown is on as HBA opens up registration process!
HBA Global Expo in New York City is officially open for registration as this year’s conference promises to offer more key insight and opportunities for beauty brands to grow and increase sales.

Over three days the cosmetics community will meet to source new ingredients and raw materials, packaging and components, contract manufacturers, services and finished goods from all over the world.

According to organisers, this year's conference scheduled in June, will feature new content and expert speakers that will provide the latest findings on brand development, innovations, skin care, and all that is natural & sustainable.

A dedicated track for packaging professionals will provide the latest information on designing for the web, retail and global markets as well as a real world case study from a leading personal care brand on developing effective packaging in an aggressive timeframe.”

Highlights

Finished products pavilion 'SPLASH' is back by popular demand, which will showcase 30 international emerging brands and niche product lines, representing all categories including fragrance, and will be juried by an elite panel of storefront and online retailers, brand strategist and beauty bloggers.

Meanwhile in a prime exhibit location and re-designed to optimize exhibitors' offerings, the New Products Showcase is an attendee destination area that will include the latest in formulation, packaging, private label and more.

Unique perspectives from those on the forefront of brand success will headline the Trend Spot Theatre, including make-up and product expert Eve Pearl and other top innovators in color, fashion, technology, anti-aging and more.

Much anticipated awards section

Elsewhere, the much anticipated IPDA & Industry Awards Presentation section of the event will honor the year's most innovative packaging in several categories including cosmetics, fragrance, personal care, skin care and sustainability.

The awards are claimed to be the biggest and longest-running in the beauty industry and serve to platform the latest key industry trends, as well as the sharpest new designs on the market.

Two of its newest categories- sampling/travel size products and at-home devices and tools were added to the list in 2011 after organizers recognized the growing impetus that they now carry within the industry.

Designs that have been refreshed, improved, or offer new features or technologies are also eligible to participate and entries will be judged by a ‘Committee of 100’ comprised of packaging experts, designers, industry suppliers and members of the media.

Finalists for the IPDA Awards are announced in early May and the Category Winners and the Grand Award will be revealed during the HBA Global Expo & Conference June 18 - 20, 2013 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.
