Spring has sprung and brought with it a bright array of beautiful, vibrant colors. From visually appealing hair removal creams to pastel semi-permanent hair dyes and a best-selling nail polish set, this month’s Launch Pad celebrates colors, colors, everywhere!

At-home waxing brand Wakse launches newest product, Meltoway

Co-founded by “Two Hairy Guys,” Shayan Sadrolashrafi and Andrew Glass have created a brand that has set out to reinvent “the way we think about hair removal” by combining “cutting-edge technology, premium ingredients, and an eye-catching aesthetic to create an unparalleled waxing experience in the comfort of your own home,” according to the Wakse website. The brand’s latest launch, Meltoway, is a one-step hair-dissolving cream formulated with gentle ingredients like sunflower seed oil for sensitive skin and delicate areas.

The collection has four scents: Guava Butter, Fairy Floss, Mango Magic, and Milk & Honey. According to the brand, the Meltoway collection will “transform the mundane task of hair removal into a delightful experience.”

The Wakse Meltoway collection is available on the company’s website​, and each scent retails for $20.00.

Hair color brand Arctic Fox drops latest Pastel Hour Collection

In 2024, fashion and beauty experts predict the return of bold and bright hair color trends—perfect timing for the release of Arctic Fox’s latest semi-permanent hair dye collection, Pastel Hour. The collection includes three new shades and one previously released option: blue Cotton Candy Dreams, green Pistachio Macaron, and peachy Peach Prosecco, the latest additions to Arctic Fox’s offerings, and pink Frose, making its sweet return.

All the formulations in the new collection are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and contain no harsh chemicals. The semi-permanent colors are long-lasting and provide hydrating and deep conditioning benefits in addition to rich and beautiful colors.

Cosmetics brand Kevyn Aucoin releases Face Forward Color Corrector

Celebrity makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin’s namesake brand has launched its latest cosmetic product for a flawless complexion. The Face Forward Color Corrector features three creamy and highly pigmented color correctors to neutralize skin tone imperfection for a smooth finish.

The Face Forward Color Corrector includes peach to target dark circles and hyperpigmentation on lighter skin tones, green to counteract redness, and red/orange to balance dark undereye areas and veins on darker skin tones. The formulation works well with all skin types and is enriched with moisturizing ingredients like jojoba seeds and antioxidants for multifunctional benefits.

Kevyn Aucoin Face Forward Color Corrector is available now on the company’s website​ and retails for $39.00.

Tattoo aftercare brand Hustle Butter launches Daily Rejuvenating Lotion and Revitalizing Stick

To keep tattooed skin bright and fresh, Hustle Butter has released two new products designed to ‘make your artwork pop,’ according to the brand. The first launch, Hustle Butter’s Daily Rejuvenating Lotion, is formulated with naturally derived moisturizing ingredients like shea butter and aloe to keep skin soft and tattoo coloring bold. The product also features a signature tropical fragrance for an enjoyable tattoo aftercare experience.

The brand’s second launch, the Revitalizing Stick, offers many of the same benefits of the Rejuvenating Lotion but in a convenient and portable travel-friendly format. Like the newly released lotion, the Revitalizing Stick is designed to keep tattoos looking crisp and bright, regardless of location or time of day.

Beauty brand Isle of Paradise introduces Express Self-Tanning Mousse

Following a long and dreary winter inside, many beauty enthusiasts long for a healthy summer glow without the potentially harmful effects of UV rays. For a moisturizing option that leaves behind a radiant finish, Isle of Paradise has dropped its latest self-tanning product, the Express Self-Tanning Mousse.

Formulated with hydrating hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and Vitamin B5, this product delivers color that develops in as little as 30 minutes and leaves skin moisturized for 24 hours. Woman-owned and operated vegan nail polish brand Mooncat has recently released its latest collection of nail lacquers, which includes nine shades that are ‘an ode to love,’ according to the brand. Featuring 100% vegan and cruelty-free product formulations, Mooncat’s Seasons of Persephone collection features options like sage green Devil’s Ivy, mauve Lovebomb, and bronze metallic The Trouble With Immortality.

The nail polish set offers various polishes and finishes, including the brand’s first thermal color-changing Queen of the Dead, a dark red shade that transitions to a raspberry blush when warm. Launched last month, the set has already become Mooncat’s best-selling launch to date.

Mooncat’s Seasons of Persephone collection retails on the company’s website​ for $119.00 for the complete set of 9 polishes, or individually for $15.00-$16.00 each.
