OSEA launches Hyaluronic Body Serum

Seaweed-infused skin care brand OSEA has announced its latest release, Hyaluronic Body Serum earlier this month. Founded in 1996, the brand is focused on producing clean and effective beauty products and is Climate Neutral Certified, Ocean Positive Verified, and offers a skin care packaging recycling program in partnership with TerraCycle from its Los Angeles brick-and-mortar location.

The new Hyaluronic Body Serum is formulated with natural ingredients like five molecular weights of hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, vegan peptides and green microalgae, blue-green algae, and aloe to nourish, smooth, and hydrate the skin. As reported by OSEA, the Serum is “clinically proven to instantly boost skin’s hydration by 161%,” based on a third-party clinical study after one use.

Peace Out Skincare releases Redness + Clarifying Mist

Peace Out Skincare’s newest product launch, which became available on May 21, “was developed to combat redness and reduce excess oil for even the most sensitive skin types and conditions like eczema, dermatitis and rosacea,” shared Dr. Carol Cheng, Board-Certified Dermatologist and Pediatric Dermatologist. Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of California Los Angeles & Peace Out Dermatology Partner. The product’s formulation features “hero ingredient Hypochlorous Acid, [which] is gentle, yet highly effective at calming inflammation, repairing the skin barrier, reducing redness and minimizing breakouts,” Dr. Cheng explained.

The formulation also features “an innovative Triple Clay Blend, which dries excess oil, cleans impurities from pores, and relieves visible redness and dry skin,” Dr. Cheng continued, adding that “what makes this product especially good for acne-prone skin is that Peace Out has blended powerful natural ingredients such as Zinc and Arnica, which are natural redness reducers that cool and protect stressed skin and can be used every day and all over the body.”

Indigenous-owned skin care line Wildcraft launches Pure Radiance Vitamin C Eye Cream

Canadian natural products brand Wildcraft announced its latest product launch, Pure Radiance Vitamin C Eye Cream on May 28. The brand focuses on democratizing skin care products with a commitment to keep product prices under $50.00 and utilizes natural and organic ingredients in its product formulations.

The hero ingredient in Wildcraft’s Pure Radiance Vitamin C Eye Cream formulation is vitamin C-rich Kakadu plum, which is paired with moisturizing mango butter and soothing cucumber extract to refresh tired eyes and reduce dark undereye circles. The product is also 100% natural, vegan, and certified cruelty-free.

Wildcraft’s Pure Radiance Vitamin C Eye Cream is available on the company’s website​ as well as select Canadian retailers for $38.00.

HH Science introduces its Brightening Serum + SPF 50 Drops

Described as a sheer and lightweight mineral sun serum, HH Science’s Brightening Serum + SPF 50 Drops is a “multi-tasking brightening serum [that] is truly revolutionizing the SPF game,” designed to offer “all the benefits of an antioxidant enriched serum with the benefits of chemical-free SPF protection,” explained Helen M. Torok, MD, Medical Director of the Trillium Creek Dermatology Center in OH and co-founder of HH Science in a product launch statement.

The product’s formulation features “25% micronized zinc oxide, [which] provides a natural, physical barrier between your skin and the sun’s rays and offers more comprehensive protection than a chemical-based SPF,” Dr. Torok shared, and “the novel pairing of zinc oxide with potent antioxidants affords antioxidant and SPF protection from UV rays.” Additional ingredients include green tea polyphenols, ascorbic acid, and biotin to provide natural UV protection, stimulate collagen, and contribute to healthy looking skin, said Dr. Torok.

Sum Bum limited-edition Body Wash sells out

Described as a “Gen-Z favorite personal care and lifestyle brand,” Sun Bum recently launched a limited-edition Body Wash “after years of fan demand for a body wash in Sun Bum’s signature scent,” according to a product launch press release. Sun Bum’s limited-edition Body Wash’s formulation featured moisturizing, vitamin E-enriched, vegan, and cruelty-free ingredients, and was exceptionally popular with brand fans upon its release.

The product briefly joined Sun Bum’s lineup of sunscreens, lotions, lip balms, and other personal care products, but has since sold out.
