SCC call-for-speakers deadline is May 15
This year’s SCC Annual Meeting (sponsored by Ashland) is on track to again be an in-person event held at the Sheraton New York Times Square in New York City and will take place on December 14 and 15.
Speaking opportunities at the SCC 75th Annual Meeting
To be considered as a prospective speaker for this year’s SCC Annual Scientific Meeting and Showcase, cosmetics and personal care industry stakeholders are asked to submit an abstract of a case study, lab demo, or original work. Working scientists (with suppliers, manufacturers, and brands), academics, and policy makers are often featured as speakers at the annual meeting.
Each speaker will have 15 to 25 minutes to share their work with attendees. And each speaker is also included in a question-and-answer panel session.
According to the organization’s site, the SCC is particularly interested in presentations about “new or novel ingredient, process, and formulation technologies; sustainability; regulatory; safety; and/or testing and claims, covering both basic and advanced knowledge levels.” To learn more and find a link to submit an abstract for consideration, click here.
