Many indie beauty brands are coming to the fore not only on the strength of the products and presentation, but also stories of compassion, giving back and being kind to the environment. Maya Chia is the perfect example of this and much of its success has been built on the back of a great story.
Maya Chia Beauty oils were launched by company founder Susanne Norwitz who wanted to bring the beauty-giving and anti-aging properties of chia seeds to the US consumer, while also helping the Mayan people of Central America who farm and harvest the seeds.
