Competition time as Variblend call for entries

News of a competition now, rather than a new product, as VariBlend announces a global call for entries for the first annual VariBlend Formulation Challenge.

The entry period commences September 1 and runs through December 1, with award winners to be announced January 30, 2016.  The expert judging panel will include members of the international formulator and Brand Innovation Manager communities.  
Prize money totals $10,000, with $7,500 going to the first-place winner and $2,500 for the runner-up.

According to Robert Brands, VariBlend President and CEO, the 2015 VariBlend Formulation Challenge is designed to spark the creativity of skin care product developers, as it underscores the tremendous market potential for the dual dispensing category.
The competition is open to manufacturers, contract packagers and formulators, and challenges entrants to devise a skin care product using the company’s 40mm dual dispenser.
