Valdata software increases raw material inventory accuracy for CEI
Valdata Systems claims that its software has helped Cosmetics Essence Incorporated (CEI) achieve in excess of a 99 percent accuracy rate for its raw material inventory records.
CEI implemented Valdata's Chemical Management System at its facility in Ridgefield, New Jersey, four years ago and says that the accuracy levels have continued to improve each year.
Following on from this achievement, the company took the decision to implement the same system at its other production facility in Roanoke, Virginia, where the 99 percent accuracy rate was subsequently recorded.
"It is without a doubt one of the most successful projects I have been involved with in the eight years I have been with CEI," said Dan Hare, CEI vice president of Quality and Regulatory.
