Shiseido subsidiary ups ante with chemical management software
Davlyn Industries, a subsidiary of the Shiseido Company, says it has experienced a marked improvement in its manufacturing effeciencies after implementing Valdata software.
The company, which is located in Monroe Township, New Jersey, introduced the Valdata Chemical Management system in December 2011.
Ladio Hanzes, executive director of manufacturing & facilities at the plant reported that the software has contributed to improvements that have included 100 percent weighing accuracy and a 20 percent reduction in documentation review time.
"There are other improvements realized and we expect the numbers to improve, as our operators gain experience and we tweak further improvements," said Hanzes.
