This year’s Art of Packaging Awards gala will be dedicated to the honouring fragrance player Interparfums and its CEO Jean Madar.

The annual event to celebrate the achievements of packaging professionals  is due to take place on June 21st, at its traditional venue, The University of Club of New York, in the heart of midtown Manhattan.

It will again benefit the Marc Rosen Scholarship and Education Fund for Packaging By Design, focusing on the young up and coming talent created by packaging students from all over the Nation.

Interfparfums to be honored

The event will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:30pm, followed by a dinner during which Interparfums and Madar will be honored for the role played in the industry and specifically the contribution to the packaging.

Over the years the event has become increasingly successful, attracting a wide number of industry professionals who take part in the event as both a networking opportunity as well as a means of supporting up and coming cosmetic packaging designers.

Indeed, it has helped to raise over $3.5 million towards scholarships funds for packaging designers at the Pratt Institute, which is one of the most eminent educational institutions in this field.

The 27th year for the Art of Packaging Awards

This is the 27th year that the event has been put together by Marc Rosen and his team, with funds raised from ticket sales from the gala dinner helping to create two full tuition scholarships at the Pratt Institute in packaging design.

Rosen is an acclaimed packaging designer and entrepreneur and is the owner and founder of Rosen Associates, a company providing design and branding consultation for the cosmetic and luxury retail segments.

He also oversees the world’s only masters degree-level course for students looking to pursue careers in cosmetics and packaging design, at the Pratt Institute.
