Organizers of 2015 #Beauty20 Awards seek nominations
The third New York #Beauty20 Awards will be announced on November 5th, and ahead of that, organizers innoCos Events are looking for nominations.

Last year the New York event attracted more than 350 entrants and totaled more than 14,000 votes, while showcasing some of the most cutting edge products, technologies and marketing strategies.

Winners of the 2014 awards in New York last year including OPI Products, which received three prizes, Mary Kay, which walked off with two prizes, ULTA Beauty, Dove, Birchbox, Dollar Shave Club and Best Beauty Brand online – Aveda.

The organiser also runs two other annual #Beauty20 Awards, in Paris and in London, for which brands such as Sephora, L’Occitane, Benefit Cosmetics and Burt’s Bees have all proved to be winners.

Best Beauty Startup tipped to be big

For this year’s New York awards, the organizer says that the categories most likely to be the hottest are: Best Beauty Brand Online, Best Beauty Startup and Best Technology.

Of particular interest is the Best Beauty Startup category that is proving to be a platform for some of the most innovative products as well as the most inspiring and cutting edge technologies, from companies who have been established less than five years.

Other categories include: BestTwitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Best App, Best Online Video, Best e-commerce website and Best Beauty Brand Online.

Nominations need to be in by August 15th

“Beauty industry invests more and more in digital marketing with a main goal to get closer to the customer. They want us to Like & Love your brand,” said Irina Kremlin from innoCos Events.

“Such competition of global and local brands can be the reality check for beauty brands to show who they really like the most. Now who will receive the award in New York on November 5 2015?”

Nominations for the event will be accepted up until August 15, 2015, with judges pre-screening the initial selection of brands, before the vote goes public on September 1st.
