CEW launches revamped image and networking tool
The Cosmetics Executive Women organization has revealed a new look, complete with reworked logo, redesigned website and a new networking tool called CEW Member Connect.

The reworking reflects a more cohesive and progressive image for the organization, which plays a vital part to help male and female cosmetic and personal care professional to network and further their careers in the industry.

But perhaps the change that will impact industry professionals the most is the launch of CEW Member Connect, which is a social media tool designed to help professionals network online.

Social media hub for industry professionals

Similar to the Linked-In concept, CEW Connect allows individuals to load up their profiles, become involved with specific industry communities, share news and information, browse other profiles and find out about the latest career opportunities.

Indeed, the tool has been designed for optimum ease of use, and has even been designed to interface with Linked-In, allowing users to load up their profiles directly from there, without having to go through the rigmarole of setting up a new profile.

This new online member community was created especially with you in mind,” said Carlotta Jacobson, CEW president, addressing members concerning the launch of Connect.

“It offers an easier way for you to network and connect with other CEW members through an interactive member directory, discussion groups and an improved mentoring program, CEW MentorMatch.”

CEW MentorMatch program

The CEW mentoring program has been running for many years, providing support, mostly from more senior members of the community, to individuals who are starting out in their careers, or those with experience who want to climb further up the career ladder.

CEW Connect can be find by logging on to the CEW website and then selecting it in the navigation panel.

Doing so takes members to the Connect page, where seven principle navigation tabs include the member directory, communities and CEW MentorMatch, together with a ‘getting started’ panel to the right, which clearly shows members how to use the tool.
