For many, the ‘Medicine Hunter’ Chris Kilham has been venturing into the world’s wild vegetation zones in an on-going search for botanicals that may have therapeutic, nutritional or wellness benefits.

Working with natural ingredients suppliers Naturex, the American has turned his eye to sourcing new innovative ingredients for cosmetic applications.

This has taken him to Africa, where Kilham told Cosmetics Design he made a lot of discoveries based on ingredients originally used in the food and nutrition industry, but actually had cosmetic benefits.
