At next month's HBA Global Expo the three day-educational program has a new focus on increased interactivity, which will be underlined by themes in this year's conferences, the organizers say.

The June 19-21 conference in NYC draws 16,000 industry professionals and the goal of the education program is generating an even greater exchange of fresh thinking and innovative practices.

One presenter to look for this year is Alisa Marie Beyer, founding partner and CEO of The Beauty Company.  Beyer and TBC team have extensive experience polishing clients’ brand building efforts and showcase this in an emerging brands half-day workshop.

Emerging Brands half-day workshop

The TBC workshop, The Beauty Business is Not for Sissies, is structured around building blocks for a new brand.  Beyer kicks off the morning with two topics:  Beauty by the Numbers and the trademarked Beauty Product Development Lifecycle, her concept to counter guide to building a genius beauty brand.

“Our intention with this workshop was to really help guide and educate new beauty entrepreneurs for every step that must happen when they first set about starting a new brand or beauty company, but it will also be very useful and informative for anyone already in the industry, as well,” said Beyer.

Rounding out the workshops are sessions on retail sell-in and sell-through with Lantz-a-Lot, vital elements of creating a beauty brand (also presented by TBC), and funding strategies with the Demeter Group.  Workshop attendees walk away with a free copy of the TBC’s ‘The Beauty Business Is Not for Sissies Workbook”.
