Surfactant-supplier Colonial Chemical has launched an ingredients blend targeted for use in the formulation of tear-free shampoo for babies and children.
ColaDet EQ-12 is easy-to-use and biodegradable, according to the company, and is a mild cleanser and excellent foamer.
Colonial Chemical highlights that tear-free claims need to be established after the addition of additives including dyes and fragrances, and after viscosity adjustment.
ColaDet EQ-12 can also be used in facial washes, bubble bath and in mild liquid soaps in foam pumps.
