Scientific research is increasingly pointing to the fact that the
cell nucleus plays an important part in the ageing process - a
discovery that could revolutionise anti-ageing treatments.
US Scientists believe they are one step closer to improving the
efficacy of anti-ageing creams and other skin care treatments,
having identified new molecular indicators of aging in the skin
that throw more light on the ageing process.
AGI Dermatics says it is testing a new drug, Dimericine, which it
claims can be incorporated into anti-ageing and sunscreen products
as a means of repairing uv-related damage already apparent in the
skin.
