Free Webinar - Selling circular: Making green beauty the retail reality
As detailed in a recent report from global measurement and data analytics company NIQ, the top 5 sustainable beauty trends for emerging brands in 2023 are sustainable beauty packaging, “free-from” claims, retailer participation, widespread sustainability adoption, and government intervention. Further, the report noted that 45% of consumers surveyed felt responsible sourcing is one of the most important sustainability claims, and a further 24% of respondents want brands to increase their uses of sustainably produced ingredients.
With so much information, options, and opportunities available to today’s cosmetics and personal care product brands in the sustainability space, it can be difficult to navigate which choices are the best fit for a brand’s unique needs. For example, where does the responsibility for sustainability lie – with the manufacturer, retailer, or both? How do brands take carbon management into account when selecting packaging? How do indie brands compete with larger conglomerates in the sustainability space, particularly regarding recycling options? And what role does the consumer play in the discussion of sustainable product consumption?
Our upcoming free webinar (registration required) will explore these questions and more.
