Givaudan launches Brazilian botanical extract collection
Called RitualEssenz, the range includes three new botanical extracts, which have been chosen both for their active properties and the fact that they are also exotic or unusual.
But exotic or unusual does not mean scares. The ingredients have been sourced with thecompany’s ‘A Sense of Tomorrow’ sustainably strategy, which means the Givaudan team has chosen extracts with a sustainable supply from biodiversity.
Promoting science, innovation and sustainability
The teams says that thanks to this strategy the new line of ingredients reflects the company’s aim to promote science and innovation while also adding value to local communities involved in the farming and harvesting process.
While supporting sustainable agriculture and forest management practices, the team also cultivates benefit sharing to support communities and families involved in the sustainable supply of the raw materials used in the line.
The range has been sourced using botanical extracts from Brazilian Jambu, Matéand Guarana, which were all chosen both for their availability and significant active properties.
