Cosmoprof NA panel hits on the cannabis 'dilemma'
The Cosmoprof North America event is now less than three weeks away. And featuring a packed education program, one session not to miss concerns the big buzz around cannabis and hemp formulated products.

In a presentation titled ‘High On Beauty: The Cannabis Dilemma', four leading experts in the field will bring their experience and knowledge of this field to an 90-minute long presentation that will be hosted by myself, Simon Pitman.

The panel discussion will take place on Sunday, July 29th, from 3:30pm to 5pm, and will featuring a panel of experts from a range of backgrounds that include legal and regulation, market research, a leading skin care brand and media dedicated to this fast growing but still relatively unknown area.

Tickets for the event are $65 for Professional Beauty Association members, $75 for non-members and can be reserved by clicking here.  Please make your reservation as soon as possible as tickets go fast and may be sold out ahead of the event.

The aim of the session

Anyone attending this session will learn about the latest formulation technologies relating to cannabis, hemp and CBD oil, while also finding out more about the all-important regulatory landscape, which does significantly impact the approach to starting a beauty brand in this category.

In the US, the current legal position of cannabis and CBD oil varies hugely from state-to-state, and what you can claim on the side of, for example, a skin care product containing CBD, does have to be approached with some caution.

The session will include a presentation from each of the panelists, outlining their experiences and what they have learnt in this field, with a view to giving the audience a clearer picture of the opportunities that lay out there and how to avoid the pitfalls.
