Bell unveils its fragrance trends for 2018
Spark is billed as Bell’s ‘insider resource’ into the trends that are driving the fragrance and flavors categories and is designed to help give industry professionals a look in on what to expect in the coming year and beyond.
Wellness is one of the uniting forces reflected by all of Bell’s fragrance predictions, supported by the fact that consumers want to incorporate a fragrance experience that makes them feel both relaxed and uplifted.
How older fragrance trends influence the forecast
But as well as looking to the future, the six new trends identified by the Bell team also incorporate elements of the trends from the past year, reflecting how they have impacted the ever-changing fragrance world and influenced the newly emerging trends.
“Bell’s Spark trend program has evolved over the years to become a dynamic program that analyzes different data points combined with consumer insight to generate trend forecasts for flavor and fragrance predictions and concepts,” said Kelli Heinz, Bell’s vice president of marketing.
“Each year Bell validates our past predictions to see where they have matured in the market place and our success rate has been spot on for each Spark trend further validating our unique trend curation process.”
