2015 Cosmetics Compliance Seminar secures more expert speakers
The 2015 Cosmetics Compliance Seminar is just around the corner, with the final speaker line up now including experts in the fields of CARB and the California Safe Cosmetics Act.

Promoted with the strapline: “Looking Good in the Eyes of the Law”, the event will now include presentations from Dr. David Edward and Dr. Paula Johnson, who join a long list of industry experts presenting at the Marine’s Memorial Club and Hotel, in San Francisco, California, from April 17 - 18.

Dr. Edwards is manager of the Consumer Products Implementation Section in the Air Quality Planning and Science Division of ARB, and will give an overview of CARB’s Consumer and Commercial Products Survey, describing the rationale, applicability and scope of the Survey, according to the organizers.

Dr. Paula Johnson, a research scientist and head of the California Safe Cosmetics Program at the California Department of Public Health, will discuss the details of SB 484 and its impact on the cosmetics industry.

Essential regulation and litigation updates

The event will be chaired by Angela Diesch, law practitioner, cosmetic industry regulatory expert, and a shareholder in the Kronick law firm, who will also be heading up two question-and-answer sessions as well as a panel discussion on global regulatory concerns.
