Luxe Pack New York to expand, with new features
Luxe Pack New York continues to develop into one of the most important events for the North American beauty packaging industry, with a bigger than ever event planned for this year, incorporating a number of new features.

When it opens its door in 2014, the event will again be held at the New York Pier 92, in Manhattan on May 14th and 15th, and is set to platform more than 190 of the world’s biggest players in the luxury packaging segment.

Confirmed exhibitors for this year’s event include Aptar Beauty & Home, Albea, Axilone, Beauty Packaging, Cosmotec, Elcos, Fusion Packaging and Gerresheimer.

Cosmetics Design gets its own booth

On top of this Cosmetics Design will also have its own booth at the event, the first time we have exhibited at this event. The booth will be manned for the two days the event is being held over and we look forward to welcoming any readers.

And for the first time ever the event will also be featuring Luxe Pack Promo Pavilion, an area of the show floor dedicated area to highlight packaging specialist specialized in the designing bespoke solutions for promotional activities.

This new event feature aims to gather professionals from both the beauty and beverage sectors who are specialized in an increasingly important area for both of these industries – promotions.

It's all about promos this year

Promos are used to highlight a range of product enhancements, highlighting everything from loyalty campaigns to gifts and competitions, and as competing products vie for shelf space, this is increasingly becoming an important mark of differentiation.

The event will also feature a two-day conference program, featuring ten dedicated presentation, each focusing on a different aspect of the luxury packaging sector.

Highlights from the program include Jeannine Reckkio, who will discuss ‘tasteful’ luxury touches, a discussion panel featuring focusing on how creative collaboration can up the packaging game, and a presentation by Dr. Benjamin Punchard of Mintel who will discuss tips on how to make packaging design distinguishing.
