Oxea raises prices on certain chemicals throughout the Americas

Fine chemicals provider Oxea has announced price increases for specific materials that it suppliers in the North America, Central America and South American markets.

As of April 1, 2012, the company said that it will add US0.05 to price per pound of i/n butanol, i/n butyl acetate, n butyraldehyde, n propanol and n propyl acetate in the USA, Canada and Mexico markets.

In the Southa and central America markets, the company said that it would be increasing the price of the same ingredients, except butyraldehyde by $110 per metric ton.

Germany-based Oxea has an American corporate head quarter in Dallas, Texas, and is a leading supplier of oxo and oxo derivatives such as alcohols, polyols and specialty esters to the cosmetics and personal care industry world-wide.
