Sun care specialist La Roche-Posay has launched a mobile phone app that aims to warn consumers about the dangers of excessive UV exposure.
My UV Check is compatible with iPhones and is available through leading phone retail channels, including the App Store.
It has specific options that allow the user to profile their own skin type, comparing it to the current weather conditions in order to know the exact type and amount of sunscreen that should be applied.
It is also linked to the latest weather forecasts for specific areas, allowing users to plan ahead how much and what type of sunscreen they should have with them.
