More changes at Maesa as company continues to strengthen in US
The France-headquartered company, which has recently announced the appointment of a new CEO of its US operations, has now recruited a new project manager for packaging, a new logistics manager, and a new CFO for the region’s business.
Jeff Klein has taken on the role of CFO for Maesa Group US, and will lead the finance team in the US, working closely with the team in Paris in order to drive the company’s growth strategy.
Maesa’s Packaging division has recruited Jennifer Gonzales who will take on the role of project manager. Gonzales was previously working for Alcan Packaging, so is bringing experience and industry contacts to the team.
Maria Anderson will take on the role of logistics manager for the group, and Terence Foster and Jennifer Gately join the finance team.
Strengthening US position with new CEO
Earlier this summer the company announced that Jill Belasco would be taken on the role of Group CEO for the US operations.
Belasco was the founder of Maesa Home and will be overseeing US operations and strategy for all four divisions: Maesa Studio, Maesa Packaging, Maesa Home and Maesa Beauty.
“As we continue to strengthen our position in the U.S. and develop global alliances, I’m happy to be part of the leadership team that will support the Maesa Group’s vision,” she said at the time of her appointment.
The company was founded in 1997, and has been expanding in the US since it opened its first subsidiary in New York in 2007.
Early 2009 saw the acquisition of US packaging provider Zorbit Resources which the company has been integrating into its operations.
