DuPont announces polymer price increases
DuPont’s Packaging and Industrial Polymers division has announced a price increase of €.0.15/kg for all its Ethylene Copolymer product lines.
Products affected include DuPont Bynel, DuPont Nucrel and DuPont Surlyn among others.
According to the company, the price increases are necessary in order to ‘ensure supply continuity and support the continued reinvestment required for future market demand’.
The price increases are in addition to those announced May 1 2010, and will come into effect on June 15.
