The RPC Bramlage Wiko group has been chosen as the packaging
company to create the dispensing system for the new male grooming
range created by Champneys - a company more commonly known for its
health spas.

The range, Champneys for Men, is the first skin care line by the company designed solely for male consumers, made to complement the company's existing woman's range. Acheson & Acheson, who is manufacturing the skin care range for Champneys, chose the RPC Wiko's magic Star dispensing system for the two products in the male grooming range based on the popularity of the dispensing system within the cosmetics industry, due to its distinctive shape. The dispenser dosing system ensures controlled dosage and hygienic application of the skin care product and is said to be in a distinctive shape that is 'quality appropriate for the champney's brand'. RPC has designed its 50ml Magic Star dispensing system in a grey colour to match the skin care range image, available on the Champney website and in Sainsbury's stores across the UK, it has also designed a grey matching lid for the facial moisturisor and a transparent version for the aftershave balm. Emma Payne from Acheson & Acheson stated, "The Magic Star dispenser delivers excellent functionality and has a suitable image for the new development, Champneys for Men". RPC updated its magic pump airless dispensing range late last year, when it incorporated a magic oval dispenser into the line, for lotions, creams and gels. The Oval line is available for 50ml, 100ml and 150ml receptacle sizes, and provides a more rounded option to the Magic Star and slimline Magic SL ranges that are already on the market. According to the company, the oval shape for the range gives consumers a comfortable and ergonomic means of handling the package, as well as a wider area for decoration, providing cosmetic manufacturers with options such as silk screen printing, labelling and hot stamping. The cap has also been designed to accept hot stamping.
