The personal care brand (which is a subsidiary of Fox Group, an apparel retailer based in Israel) entered the Canadian beauty market place late last month. And within the next several months, Laline will open a handful of retail locations across Ontario.

The brand is focusing on experiential brick-and-mortar locations in Canada: “Our new stores…will be tailored after Laline's unique design concept that offers a complete in-store pampering experience for customers,” says Erez Malka, CEO of Laine, in a press release about the brand’s expansion in to that country.

“From our airy, open-concept and dreamy store design—completely outfitted with a bathtub for the complete customer ambiance—to our unique product range with a variety of fragrances, textures and ingredients, the Canadian consumers are in for a new and exciting experience,” believes Malka.

Bath, body, and beauty

Laline sells a range of bath and body care products, facial skin care, men’s grooming and skin care, beauty products for teens and tween, home fragrance products, and more.

“The vast scent series collection,” according to a press release about the brand’s Canadian debut, “is referred to as The World of Scent and consists of more than 20 products per the 10 signature scents and addresses several wellness benefits including stress relief, relaxation, nourishment and happiness.”

The brand’s signature scents are: vanilla patchouli, ocean, frozen pear, cherry blossom, musk, vanilla pink pepper, monoi, coconut verbena, violet amber, and lemongrass verbena.

Global expansion

Laline has plans to open 6 locations in Ontario over the coming year.  But Laline isn’t the only beauty brand out of Israel to move in to the North American market place lately.

In February, the botanical skin care brand Kamedis launched in the US. And as Cosmetics Design reported, that brand launched in the US with 3 skin treatment products: a skin wash, an acne care kit, and a shampoo – scalp lotion duo. Kamedis specializes in skin issues like eczema, psoriasis, acne, and dandruff and leverages Traditional Chinese Medicine to formulate their products.
