The Cosmetics Design team is looking to expand its coverage of the cosmetics and personal care industry in the Americas and would love to hear from you if you think you have what it takes to file cutting edge, headline-grabbing news.

We are looking for a reporter who can spot the hottest news, ask the difficult questions and find the story behind the spin for our US-dedicated leading B2B news website,​. We also publish​ and​, which may give rise to occasional contributions.

Job Profile :

The successful applicant would be a recent graduate with a degree in journalism and preferably have reporting experience for an online B2B publication, skills in copy writing, telephone interviews, proof-reading and an ability to meet daily publishing deadlines.

You will be able to identify relevant leads and deliver breaking news and off-diary content covering developments in formulation, technology and business for our sites, which combined as a group, gather an independently audited circulation of more than 140,000 unique monthly visitors.

To thrive in this fast-paced environment, you will have to be equally at home breaking news in text articles, videos or podcast reports or using social media.

You should have a passion for journalism and will need to be as comfortable talking to scientists and formulators as you are quizzing business strategists and CEOs. You should also be ready to tackle public speaking events, including conferences or webinars. 

The person we appoint should be a strategic thinker who can contribute to the brand development of our sites while working to exacting editorial deadlines.

Although not a prerequisite, we are also interested in candidates with language skills, particularly those with fluency in Portuguese, Spanish and Mandarin.

The successful candidate will be based in our office in Midtown Manhattan, NYC, but will be expected to travel widely throughout the Americas, and on occasion further afield.
