The free webinar will kick off with market insights from Addison Cain, senior insights & marketing lead at Spate.
“Spate is so wonderful in that they’re giving insights in real time, and I think that that is so valuable for the industry,” said panelist Cassandra Stern, editor at CosmeticsDesign. “One of the things that I think we’re going to see is a rise in ingredients that are traditionally formatted for topicals that are now translating over into the ingestible beauty space.
“So we’re talking things like Arnica, for example, for under eyes. We’re talking about things like probiotics to enhance and reinforce the skin barrier. Consumers at the end of the day are really focused on efficacy. They’re focused on things that work. And so I think that we’re going to start to see that reflected in Spate’s data a little bit more as consumers become increasingly aware of things that work for them.”
Following Spate’s market research, a panel will converge featuring Paula Simpson, innovation, product development & branding consultant at Nutribloom Consulting.
“Consumers are embracing a more holistic approach to wellness, increasingly viewing beauty/personal care as integral to overall health,” said Simpson. “This shift is bringing deeper integration between the beauty, supplement, and health sectors. Notably, women’s health (spanning menopause support to intimate wellness), longevity and weight management, are stepping into the BFW category. This reflects evolving consumer priorities but is also accelerating demand for ingestible solutions that support both internal wellbeing and external appearance. Beauty is no longer just skin deep—it’s becoming a full-spectrum expression of health.”
The panel will cover topics such as social media, particularly TikTok, which is becoming a powerful incubator for beauty trends, directly influencing product development and consumer choices. The discussion will also hit on the exciting fusion of wellness and beauty, highlighting the growing importance of longevity.
“This category has really come a long way just in the last couple of years,” said moderator Danielle Masterson, editor of NutraIngredients-USA. “Beauty-from-within consumers have outgrown the idea of appearance alone and are now laser-focused on overall well-being. I’m looking forward to discussing the interconnectedness of beauty and health from within, as well as some up-and-coming trends from my favorite nutricosmetic forecasters.”
Crucial industry challenges will also be tackled, such as regulatory scrutiny and the impact of tariffs on beauty product imports that could shape the industry’s future.
The webinar will wrap up with questions submitted from viewers and a look at what is to come next in the fascinating world of nutricosmetics.
