Utopick is a brand new natural nail varnish remover brand out of Colombia, promising an effective solution to removing nail varnish and nail art, without the harsh chemicals.

David Lopez has founded the nail varnish brand remover brand Utopick with his wife, after they realized that there was a gap in the market for a natural-based nail varnish remover.

In this video interview, David explains about the formulation, how it is still effective without the traditional harsh ingredients this type of product has and how the product can actually benefit the nails.

Avoiding acetone

"The risks of using acetone-based products for people's health is well known, which is why our formulation is much safer, since it is 100% free of acetone and methanol," said David during the exclusive video interview with Cosmetics Design.

"Our active ingredient based on organic esters focuses on opening the chemical bonds that appear between the nails and the color to protect the nails, while the acetone cleans all the layers of color, it also strips the first layer of the nail that is formed by protein, collagen and oil, in turn deteriorating its natural state and strength."
