Chemyunion makes two key appointments in Brazil
The first it the appointment of Melanie Maik who has joined the team as an account manager representing the Western Region of the business.
The second appointment is the announcement that Marisol Bello has joined the North American business as a senior account manager, a position she took up in February.
Tapping into two decades of experience
Maik has more than 20 years in the industry, half of which has been in research and development, while the rest of the time has been in sales positions.
That experience includes years spent at Cognis, in Germany, working in applications and formulation, as well as positions at Induchem and Omya in California, focused on the commercial side.
"We are really proud to have Melanie join us. Her wide knowledge of the industry and commercial skills including a deep understanding of applications and formulations allows her to become a valuable partner for our clients," said Cristiane da Silva Pacheco, new business vice president.
A career built in the personal care arena
Bello also has 20 years career experience, and all of that specific to the personal care industry, having worked in marketing, sales and business development, in companies like Gattefosse, Innovaccos and Bio-Botanica.
In her new position, Bello will also report to Pacheco, and will be based at the company’s North American headquarters, situated in New Jersey, where she will be responsible for the Northeast United States region.
