Swissline skin care expands its footing in Mexico
Swissline by Dermalab has extended its distribution in Mexico, which is already the first market for the Switzerland-based brand to be distributed in Latin America.

Already available in both Canada and the United States, the prestige anti-aging brand has extended its distribution agreement with AO Beauté, which is a distributor of science-based health and wellness products that target the Latin American region.

Swissline is already distributed worldwide, including countries such as Germany, Portugal and Russia, as well as throughout the Baltic States, the Asia Pacific region and the Middle East.

Broad consumer and professional distribution

The agreement means that Swissline professional and consumer lines will now be stocked in medical facilities, spas and a variety of retail channels throughout Mexico.

Mexico is the second biggest market for cosmetics and personal care in the Latin American region, behind Brazil, but continued economic growth and a resulting surge in the cosmetics and personal care market there has made it increasingly attractive for international brands.

“We are confident that AO Beauté’s business development, market knowledge and territory management, as well as their e-commerce and social media expertise will help Swissline effectively penetrate the Mexican market. Given Latin American consumers’ passion for beauty and aesthetics, we expect Swissline to do very well in Mexico,” said Christophe Lesueur, Swissline CEO.

Swissline brand supported by science

The reputation of the Swissline brand has been built around a significant investment in science-based research and development behind the product formulations.

Those formulations contain scientifically advanced peptides, plant-based stem cells and skin-like ingredients, including collagen, hyaluronic acid and NMF, as well as organic alpine extracts and dermatologically approved emulsifiers – the brand claims.

“We are pleased to be working with Swissline, an innovative, successful skincare brand that values scientific research, just as we do, and we believe that our expertise in the pharmaceutical and derma-cosmetics business can provide Swissline with steady sales growth and a high-profile image in Mexico, “ said Eduardo Franky, AO Beauté Co-Founder/CEO.
