The Sexiest Beauty: a people-positive cosmetics brand in the making

Industry veteran Heather Fink recently launched her own makeup brand, The Sexiest Beauty. And, even with some 30 years of experience—developing product, building brands, launching marketing campaigns—she acknowledges that as a new beauty brand founder “there are aspects of what I am doing that I have never done before.”

In this video interview with Cosmetics Design, indie beauty entrepreneur Heather Fink talks about the importance of experience, intuition, and support networks. 

“One of the things that’s really kept me going,” ​says Fink, “is a lot of colleagues…and a lot of totally new relationships that I’ve been really lucky to make…I’ve met a lot of really amazing people and reconnected with a lot of talented people who have said ‘yes’ just enough times to keep [The Sexiest Beauty] going to the next phase.”
