The Cosmoprof Bologna Worldwide event organisers are focusing on making the 2018 event portfolio even more international with the addition of some key events and further partnership developments.

In 2018 the event organisers are adding a number of new additions to its roadshow calendar, which gives the brand some important leverage in a number of key markets, particularly the more promising new markets for cosmetics and personal care products.

In addition to the Cosmoprof Bologna event, held in Italy and one of the biggest industry expos in the world, organizer Bologna Fiere is also lining up this roadshow programme:

South Korea - Seoul, 18 and 19 September

Thailand - Bangkok, on 3 and 4 October

Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur, on 5 and 6 October

Ethiopia - Addis Ababa, from 5 to 7 October

Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh, on 11 and 12 October

Jordan - Amman, on 29 and 30 October

Kazakhstan - Almaty, on 22 and 23 November

As well as providing the opportunity for brands to study these markets, to make the international program effective the Cosmoprof Bologna Worldwide has worked with the Italian government and Cosmetica Italia to attract distributors that are aiming to increase the distribution of local products abroad.

The organizers say that the international program has served as a scouting mission for a number of new brands that are likely to attend the Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna event for the first time, when it is held, March 15 – 19.

In 2017 the Bologna event attracting an estimated 250,000 beauty professionals and almost 2,700 companies – figures the show organizer is aiming to build upon in 2018, specifically with the addition of more international players.
