Neenah packaging adds box wrap and customization options
The expanded Neenah collections are also being touted for use by electronics, alcohol, entertainment media, and general retail brands.
New options
The packaging paper manufacturer has added 26 products to its premium box wrap packaging collection. In the press release announcing the new options, Neenah singles out its offset printable, uncoated, and lightweight C1S premium box wrap papers in a variety of whites, colors, and ‘environmental’ materials.
Neenah’s new luxury offerings are more compelling and have finishes that mimic fine leather and exotic skins as well as plush qualities and the appearance of metal. “This portfolio is about building a unique design,” explains the release. “Start with color, select an embossed texture, and further enhance the visual with a print pattern and/or specialty finish.”
The company is also offering customers an option to design something unique. They can “go beyond the offerings presented in the book, and work with Neenah to create a custom color or design solution,” says the release.
“This expansion has elevated our box wrap offering to the level where we can address key end users who are looking for differentiated packaging solutions, from mid-range to premium, and up to the most luxurious decorative papers,” says Mark Sng, director of marketing for Neenah Packaging. “The breadth of this offering, and the custom opportunities now available — from the largest range of whites and durable graphic papers, to the feel of nubuck leather, and high-end exotic finishes — are unmatched in the marketplace,” he believes.
Business mainstay
The company prides itself in partnerships with both emerging and well establish beauty and fragrance brands. And these latest options will certainly let the company do more of that. “As our Box Wrap portfolio continues to evolve, we remain committed to providing superior service, with low minimums, fast turnarounds, color and texture consistency, durability, and unrivaled on-press, converting and finishing performance for all of our Neenah Packaging papers," says Sng.
Beyond box wraps the company also makes bags, gift cards, card carriers, hangtags, labels, folding boards, and fragrance strips.
