A new CEO sets to work at New Avon LLC
As of Wednesday April 25th, Scott White is the company’s CEO. White spent the last 10 years working with Abbott Laboratories, most recently as president of their international nutrition division. Before that, he held several management roles with P&G.

The overriding objective of New Avon LLC is to reestablish the North America business as a thriving and profitable direct-sales beauty company. Exactly how such a lucrative update will come about isn’t yet clear.
But the chairman of the board believes he’s found the man for the job: “[Scott White] is the right leader to shepherd New Avon as it transforms into a growing, contemporary, best-in-class social selling company that positively impacts lives through beauty,” Chan W. Galbato tells the press.
“Scott is a world-class executive whose diverse experience leading successful business turnarounds, building strong brands, setting winning strategies, and driving operational excellence provides the unique skill set required to lead New Avon on a path to long-term success,” Galbato says in a press release from New Avon LLC about the appointment of White.

Out of the box, White is emphasizing that the company’s direct-sales business model and social responsibility initiatives will remain at the heart of Avon’s brand identity.
“Avon's powerful brand legacy, direct selling model, and important missions—empowering women, supporting incredible causes, such as the fights against breast cancer and domestic violence—are core tenets of this company that I am committed to building upon and strengthening,” White tells the press.
He goes on in the press release to explain that, “over the next few months, I will be meeting with many of our Representatives, listening to them and learning what New Avon and I can do to support them, improve their earnings opportunity and enhance their experience within our great Avon community.”
The CEO job is one White is glad to be taking on: “I am excited and humbled to be joining this iconic company and to have the opportunity to work closely with, and for, our talented and dedicated Representatives and Associates,” he says.
