The ogranizer has already rolled out the concept at several other of the in-cosmetic events across the globe, and has decided that it will also be a good fit for the debut in-cosmetics North America event.
To be held in the lower east side area of Manhattan, New York City, the event will take place between 7 – 8 September and will be a platform for formulation professionals, ingredients suppliers and research and development experts.
Formulation Lab expertise
The aim of the Formulation Lab is to offer expert advice in free-of-charge sessions that will be given from a purpose-built laboratory that will be strategically located on the show floor.
The lab will include benches and a range of equipment. Ingredient suppliers and technical experts will host one-hour training sessions over the two days.
The aim of these sessions is to allow finished product manufacturers to learn how to incorporate new ingredients and techniques that will help bring innovations to market, the organizer says.
Reed Exhibitions fills a void
Reed Exhibitions has been attempting to establish an event for the cosmetic ingredients industry for many years now, and has finally succeeded after it won the support of the industry.
The North America event also has the support of other show organizers, and is consequently being run in tandem with the MakeUp In New York team, which is run by the France-based BeauTeam.
In-cosmetics North America is expected to have more than 100 suppliers from 20 countries, which, alongside the Formulation Lab, will also include a seminar program and a focus on industry innovation provided by market research company Mintel.
