MakeUp in New York to highlight innovation and vintage designs
A good event to mark up in the calendar for color cosmetics professionals will be MakeUp in New York, which opens its doors to the two day event in Chelsea, Manhattan on September 23rd.

For the third consecutive year the event will be held at the Center548, and will be significantly bigger than last year, with the addition of 25 new exhibitors from all over the world.

Although the geographic focus is on exhibitors from the United States, and specifically the tri state area, there will also be a significant number of players from Europe, South America and Asia, to give the event an international feel.

During the two day event, the floor will not only serve to highlight the latest innovations and happenings from the leading players in the color cosmetics packaging field, together with a comprehensive two day conference program, an innovation track, make-up workshops and a vintage exposition.

Exhibitor highlights:

  • AMA Labs, USA
  • BASF Corp, USA
  • Bell PPHU, Poland
  • Chemicos, Korea
  • Faber-Castell, Germany
  • Pinkpac Co, Taiwan
  • Sleever International, France

MakuPioneer Innovation Track

Mapping out all the innovations to be showcased at the event, the MakUPioneer will highlight which booths have new product launches in a map form, making it easy for visitors to keep a pace of what’s new in the industry.

It will bring together all the innovations in full-service, formulation, packaging and accessories/samples, and will include industry players such as Yonwoo, Sleever International, Seacliff Beauty and Easypowder.

This year’s exposition will focus on vintage

Previous expositions have clued in on some of the most creative innovations in lipstick and fragrance packaging, and this year the theme is vintage, highlighting some of the most inspiring and durable color cosmetic products over time.

The expo will display skin care and beauty objects from the 18th century to the present day, from the private collection of powder boxes and powder compacts put together by Anne Camilli and Jean-Marie Martin-Hattemberg.
