Topline moves more packaging production to Mexico
Having established a cosmetics packaging facility in Mexico in 2010, Topline is now relocating another facility to a bigger premises in Reynosa, Mexico.

The move aims to expand considerably on its existing facility in Reynosa, adding an extra 80,000 square feet of manufacturing area, to triple the size of the existing space.

The new facility will house state-of-the-art injection molding and blow molding equipment, together with an expansion of its filling and assembly capacity, the company says.

Quicker delivery times and cutting costs

“Our new facility is part of Topline’s commitement to customers to be a valuable global partner, operation manufacturing facilities worldwide,”​ said Charles Tang, Topline president.

“With the expansion, customers in the region will have shorter supply chain lead-times at a competitive price.”

The facility, which is located just half a mile from the US border, is equipped to product beauty packaging using injection or blow molding, as well as mold design and fabrication and decoration for hot stamping, silk screening, pad printing and in-mold labeling and decoration.

Topline first moved to Reynosa in 2010

In May 2010, the company announced the establishment of the manufacturing facility in Reynosa, which at the time was a smaller premises with the capacity for expansion to 100,000 square feet.

The New Jersey-headquartered company currently has five manufacturing facilities in China, and aims to increase its global presence through the establishment of its first North American plant.

Headed up by Brian Rayner, the 26,000 square-foot facility was initially run filling operations for fragrance and nail enamel products, as well as the assembly of cosmetics gift sets.
