NSF international, a global public health organization, has announced an extension to its recently launched ‘cosmetics and personal care program’, via a partnering up with industry expert and consultant, David C. Steinberg.

The program, which provides regulatory services for cosmetics companies, has teamed up with Steinberg to expand the range of services it can offer.

Companies can now use the program for guidance on best sources and uses of preservatives, proper labelling of products, export compliance, and resolution of noncompliance issues.

Steinberg has acted as president for the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, and brings experience in the cosmetics and over-the-counter industries to the program, and the NSF have expressed their delight in his participation.

"NSF International's scientific and technical expertise coupled with David Steinberg's extensive industry knowledge is a powerful combination for companies seeking a superior approach to regulatory compliance, risk management and brand protection," said Casey Coy, Manager of the NSF Cosmetics and Personal Care Program.
