NJPEC Package of the Year Awards recognizes industry's top designs
The 35th annual New Jersey Packaging Executives Club’s Package of the Year Awards has recognized some of the leading players in health and beauty, personal care, fragrance and color cosmetics.

This year the panel of judges included Doug Silady of Boom, Leselie Artesona from MaC Cosmetics and Gary Montalbano from Bobbie Brown, together with judges from the NJPEC executive committee and its Package of the Year committee.

Health and Beauty

In the health and beauty category, the packaging innovation of the year went to Exuciance Depuffing Eye Serum, designed by the NeoStrata Company, while the sustainability prize was awarded to Goddess Garden Organics for its Sunny Series, designed by Viva Healthcare Packaging.

Gold Award 2

The Gold Award in the health and beauty category went to Artistry Youth Xtend Crescendo, by Amway, while Silver went to Ulta Men Face Moisture, by Viva Healthcare and Bronze went to Lancome Paris’ Glamglow Brightmud Eye Treatment by Klocke of America.

Personal Care

Moving on to the personal care category, the prizes for both Visual Impact and Stock Packaging went to The Soap and Paper Factory Classic Collection Bubble Baths, by Brad-Pak Enterprises.

The Gold Award in this category went to Sensodyne Toothpaste by ASG, while the Silver went to Vitabath Moisturizing by Viva Healthcare and Canadian Custom Packaging and Bronze went to Simply Slick Personal Lubrication Lotion, by Printex Packaging.

Color Cosmetics

In color cosmetics, the Visual Impact Award went to Mally Instant Impact Mascara, by Topline Products, while the prize for Market Impact went to Laura Mercier Holiday 2013 for Gurwitch Products, by Color Color Optics By Arcade.

Gold Award 4

The Gold Award in this category went to  Laura Mercier’s Signature Brushes, by Gurwitch Products, while the Silver went to Teint Vision Lancome Paris, by HCP Packaging and the Bronze went to L’Oreal Lip Lingerie, also by HCP Packaging.

Fragrance

And finally, in the Fragrance category, the Gold Award went to Truly Sexy For Romance, by Symrise Fragrances and Label Graphics, while the Silver went to Untold Fragrance for Elizabeth Arden by SGD North America and the Bronze went to Coach Signature, by McLean Packaging.
