Garnier USA wins sustainable beauty award
Organic Monitor has awarded Garnier their first ever annual Sustainability Pioneer award for their progress in becoming more environmentally friendly.

The award, which was presented at the 5th​ edition of the Sustainable Cosmetics Summit in Paris, commended the cosmetic brand for making “sustainability strides.”

Fields recognized include green formulations, sustainable packaging, sustainable ingredients, sustainability pioneer and sustainability leadership.

Garnier has formed an active partnership with TerraCycle, a company which recycles post-consumer waste and carries out environmental action.

David Greenberg, president of Maybelline New York Garnier-essie, commented: “We couldn’t be more honored to receive the Sustainability Pioneer Award by Organic Monitor.”

“We have currently collected over 2.7+ million pieces of beauty waste with more than 12,000 Beauty Brigades established domestically and internationally.”
