Inter Parfums signs fragrance agreement with Karl Lagerfeld

The latest addition to the Inter Parfums fragrance and cosmetics portfolio is fashion brand Karl Lagerfeld after the two companies signed a worldwide exclusive licensing agreement.

The 20-year agreement starts today and replaces a previous license that the Karl Lagerfeld company had with Coty, following the termination of that contract through mutual consent.

Following the agreement, the two companies have said that a new fragrance line is due to be launched during the course of the 2014 financial year.

Jean Madar, CEO of Inter Parfums, added: “Karl Lagerfeld is one of the most talented designers worldwide.  We are proud of his confidence in us as a partner to pursue strategic and long term fragrance development for the brand and we will actively devote our know-how and resources in order to contribute to a large international success.”
