In the new position Palmer will be responsible for increasing the company business around the world, working to increase the global reach of the company’s leading brands, including Kleenex, Scott, Huggies, as well as personal care wipes such as KimWipes and DryNites.

Palmer joined the company in 2006 and had previously served managing director for the UK division of Kellogg Company.

Kimberly Clark has also announced the retirement of Jan Spencer, company senior vice president after more than 34 years with the company. Having most recently headed up the company’s far-reaching restructuring program, he is due to take retirement from July 1, 2012.

Inolex appointment personal care sales manager

Philadelphia-based Inolex has announced the hiring of John Highton as the company’s personal care sales manager, an appointment that coincides with the company’s significant expansion into the cosmetics arena through its investment in new cosmetic technologies.
