A key difference to this year’s returning in-cosmetics Asia event for the cosmetics industry is the collaboration with the International Federation of the Societies of Cosmetics Chemists (IFSCC), which is taking place in the Thai capital Bangkok, from 2 – 4 November 2011.

To be held at BITEK, the organisers of in-cosmetics are collaborating with the IFSCC for the first time for this event. A partnership with the Society of Cosmetics Chemists Thailand (SCCT) has also been formed.

“The collaboration with the IFSCC will create the largest cosmetics gathering in Asia this year, which is being dubbed ‘Beauty Week in Bangkok”, claimed Cathy Laporte, group marketing manager at in-cosmetics Asia.

Event program

According to in-cosmetics Asia, the event will also include an education programme, featuring a series of formulation workshops, marketing trends presentations, and innovation seminars.

There will also be an innovation zone featuring the latest new ingredient launches and innovative finished products. Each will provide an opportunity for visitors to enhance their commercial, scientific and marketing knowledge.

Together these events present a unique opportunity for any organisation or individual working within the personal care industry in Asia to meet the key industry players and learn the latest developments, so shouldn’t be missed!” commented Laporte.

Worldwide attendance

A personal care ingredients exhibition, the organisers at in-cosmetics Asia expect to see formulators, buyers, scientists, marketing experts and distributors from across the globe.

Apparently more than 250 leading suppliers, including over 50 first-time exhibitors, have already signed up to the in-cosmetics Asia exhibition, making it the largest in its four-year history, the organisers claim.

Major players from across Asia including Croda, Dow Chemicals and DSM Nutritional Products will be present, as well as smaller niche companies from Thailand, South Korea, China, Japan, India and Malaysia, highlighting the latest Asian developments.
