Although cosmetetextiles have been around for a number of years now, new encapsulation capabilities are helping to trigger a growing number of applications for this fascinating niche category.

CosmeticsDesign.com USA caught up with Philippe Lahmani, CEO and founder of the company CCV, a distribution company that is bringing some of the latest advances in this field to the US market, at the HBA show in New York.

Lahmani explains how encapsulation is proving pivotal as the means to bring a whole range of cosmetic formulas and applications to a variety of textiles and different types of clothing.

This is bringing about textiles incorporating formulations that target anti-cellulite, deodorant, moisturizing and even micro-massaging properties that target pregnant women and new mothers.
