Global cosmetics brand Artistry Crème LuXury (LX) says proprietary CellEffect technology can help ensure maximum ingredient absorption.

The technology, used for the first time in the firm’s new anti-aging Crème LX skin care range, was developed by Artistry scientists researching the impact of both external and internal factors on skin aging.

“Creme LuXury is the most technologically advanced and effective Artistry formula for younger looking skin,” commented Jori Hartwig, vice president of marketing for Amway North America. “Creme LuXury is the direct reflection of the Artistry brand's industry leading skin care research and technology development.”

The technology optimizes the power of cardiolipin, a lipid naturally found on the skin to ensure maximum absorption of Creme LuXury's key ingredients and helps skin renew itself.

Cardiolipin vastly more expensive than gold

Thirty times more expensive than gold, cardiolipin is the most expensive ingredient ever used in an Amway Artistry product. This is reflected in the product’s $340 price tag.

Synthetic cardiolipin is rare and expensive to produce because it is a purified synthetic that begins with soybean oil and is then modified. The final cardiolipin molecule is only produced for pharmaceutical and medical research in very small quantities.

The new face cream is the result of Artistry scientists researching external factors such as UV exposure that causes skin to age, but also the processes in the human body that contribute to skin aging.

CellEffect’s potential benefits are perhaps best demonstrated by the Crème LX range.

Restorative properties to combat skin aging

The Crème LX boasts restorative properties against intrinsic causes of aging by energizing the skin. Visible signs of aging, such as loss of skin elasticity, and energy in facial skin decreases over time, and Amway claim its new product seeks to combat this.

A clinical study reported there were reductions in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as skin feeling firmer. Of the women used in the tests 93 percent experienced smoother skin, 88 percent experienced a youthful glow, and 84 percent experienced a radiant complexion.

In addition to CellEffect technology, Creme LX revitalizes the skin using its other ingredients, L-carnosine, spinach extract, and roxisomes. These help repair the signs of accumulated damage, replenish and restore skin to its natural efficiency, and protect skin to help prevent future damage caused by the environment.
