Ancient Herbal Secrets launch new natural skin peeling product
The natural peeling product is called Green Tea Resurfacing Treatment, w/Jade and it aims to bring out radiant and youthful-looking skin in a safe and natural way, according to AHS.

‘Peels’ are used on aging and/or damaged skin to restore a youthful appearance although many are unaware of the possible side effects of ‘chemical’ peels.
“We live in what I call a ‘microwave society’—we want instant results. Thus we resort to chemical peels, and more, to get that youthful appearance. However, with chemical peels, acids are used to peel the skin, and sometimes, instead of restoring the skin, it can do exactly the opposite,” explained Diann Clark, VP of Sales & Marketing of Ancient Herbal Secrets.
The risk with many ‘peels’ is that rashes, irritation, swelling and redness can occur. Some even experience blistering of the skin with an oozing effect, added Clark.
AHS claims its all-natural resurfacing treatment is designed to treat fine lines, age spots, sun damage, uneven skin tone, acne scarring, dull skin, amongst other things, while maintaining the skin's overall health and deeply hydrating and nourishing the skin.
Natural herbal ingredients
The AHS Green Tea Resurfacing Treatment, w/Jade, combines natural herbal ingredients, organic green tea and jade, with AHS claiming it can be used daily.
The jade powder is the ingredient used to remove the toxins and revitalize the skin, whereas the green tea extract provides the strongest antioxidant powers to protect the skin from environmental aging factors and oxidative damage.
Other ingredients include angelica root to stimulate the skin due to its oxygenating properties, licorice root as it is an anti-inflammatory and removes impurities from the skin, and aloe vera which is known to soothe and heal skin, reducing irritation while softening and nourishing it.
