Montblanc inks fragrance deal with Inter Parfums

The Paris-based subsidiary of Inter Parfums, Inter Parfums SA, has signed a fragrance license agreement with luxury goods company Montblanc.

Under the terms of the ten-and-a-half-year agreement, which comes into effect on July 1, 2010, Inter Parfums will create, produce and distribute perfumes under the Montblanc brand.

“This partnership with the world-renowned more than 100-year-old luxury brand will further strengthen Inter Parfums’ prospects for continued expansion in the selective perfume market,” said Philippe Benacin, chairman and CEO of Inter Parfums SA.

Montblanc is one of a number of luxury goods companies to sign an agreement with Inter Parfums, with Jimmy Choo entering into a similar agreement last year.
